SkinVive falls under a new category of injectables called “skin boosters.” Unlike traditional fillers, it’s injected superficially into the top layers of the skin rather than to add structural volume; instead, it hydrates and refines skin quality.
SkinVive is the first skin booster of its kind to be FDA approved in the U.S. Profhilo, a similar skin booster, is popular in Europe but not yet available stateside.
